The Owner's Desk is a page for people who run established businesses. It is operated by Oakmint, which helps business owners find out whether their company's operational records may qualify for data licensing opportunities. This page explains what information we collect when you contact us or fill out one of our forms, and what we do with it.
When you submit a form or contact us, we collect what you give us: your name, email address, phone number, business name, and your answers about your business, such as how long it has operated, roughly how many people it employs, and what industry it is in. If you reach us through an ad on Facebook or Instagram, Meta also shares the contact details you agreed to share on that form.
We use your information to respond to your inquiry, to see whether your business may be a fit for a data licensing opportunity, and to contact you about it by phone, text, or email — including with automated technology if you agreed to that when you submitted a form. Consent to be contacted is never a condition of any purchase. Message and data rates may apply. Reply STOP to any text to stop receiving texts.
We do not sell your personal information. Filling out a form does not move, copy, or share any of your company's business records — a form only describes your business. No business data goes anywhere without a written agreement that you have signed and approved.
We share your contact information only with the service providers we use to run our business, such as our phone, text, email, and customer-management systems, and only so they can perform those services for us. If your business moves forward with a licensing opportunity, we share information with the potential buyer only with your knowledge and approval.
You can ask us at any time to correct your information, tell you what we have, or delete it. Email hello@oakmint.co and we will take care of it. To stop texts, reply STOP; to stop emails, use the unsubscribe link or just tell us.
